What is iHealth?

What is a personal health record? Like your medical records in your health care provider's office, the Personal Health Record contains your personal medical information. Depending on how much information you want to include, this medical information and history can be extensive or a simple summary of your health information. What are the benefits of your personal health record? Your Personal Health Record is a secure summary of your health information that is available via the Internet. This enables you and anyone you authorize to see your health information. It provides a secure way to access your medical information from anywhere. What is secure messaging? Secure Messaging allows you to communicate with us securely when scheduling a non-urgent appointment or sending a routine message to your clinic. You will still need to call your clinic with any immediate needs. How do I begin using secure messaging? To begin communicating with us via secure messaging, you must register by logging into a web site or by setting up your personal health record. If you have not yet registered, click on the "New User" link in the patient login box on the home page (left bar). You will need to fill out a short form. Required fields are noted with an asterisk (*). Click the "send registration" button at the bottom of the page. You will need a valid e-mail address so that we can let you know if you have a new message. Once our clinic has reviewed your registration, you will receive a message welcoming you to iHealth with a link to the clinic iHealth page. By clicking the link, logging into iHealth, and accepting the terms of service, you can then go to your message center and begin communicating with us. Your messages are protected by Internet security encryption technology. If you have problems registering or logging in, please contact Medem toll-free at 1-877-926-3336 or email them at info@medem.com.
